The Far-reaching Influence Brought by Chinese Culture

History changes and society is in constantly altering, but the precious wealth left by the history will never obliterate and will be remembered by more people with time going. As Chinese, we are proud of Chinese civilization and deeply impressed by first impression it cast on us.

It passed a rather long time from primitive society to Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, Qing till the People's Republic of China. Naturally, a lot of wealth came into being during this period. When we start school, we began to know the Three Character Classic, even nowadays children can recite it well. Though they may not understand the meaning very well, we can’t deny that it is a very good beginning of fine education, in which we learn that love and respects among friends and brothers as well as respecting the aged and taking good care of children are the basics that we Chinese descendants should learn no matter when and no matter where.

The Confucianism prevalent in its time influenced one generation not only on Chinese history but also on South Korea, France and other countries, too. Especially when Confucianism and practical thought became their learning model, South Korea is known as living fossil of Confucian, from which we can see the keen and promoting degrees the South Korea had.

Up to now, the South Korea, France and most places of Japan are still inheriting the ancient culture of China, bringing profound influence on later generations. As Chinese descendants, we are supposed to learn the things our ancestors left behind. From the three-characters classic to Confucianism and then the Tang dynasty and the ancient words are mentioned in our textbooks. And it is in the study that we have a more better knowledge of Chinese culture.

Although some regulations of nowadays fall away from that of ancient times, the basic ethic morality won't change at any time. What's more, when we are learning these knowledge, we will love our country more and be proud as Chinese descendants!
