Authentic Beginnings
The first Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant originated in Beijing, China, where it quickly became renowned for its authentic Sichuan dishes worthy to be served to top government officials of the land. The original team of master chefs set up Singapore’s first branch in 1996; the second branch opened in 2002 at the panoramic 60th floor of UOB Plaza 1 in the Central Business District. And in 2003, Malaysia’s first Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant will open at Plaza Parkroyal Kuala Lumpur, in line with our vision to bring the celebrated tastes of signature Chinese cuisine to Asia and the rest of the world.

Uniquely Si Chuan Dou Hua, the traditional tea server integrates Chinese martial arts, dance and gymnastics moves to perform elegant stunts with names like 'Nodding Phoenix' and 'Boy Prays to Buddha'. This hones the humble act of serving tea to a fine art, befitting the finesse of our signature 8 Treasures Tea blending the health-giving properties of red dates, wolfberries, dried longan, chrysanthemum, rock sugar, dried lily buds, jasmine tea leaves and cooling herb mai dong to help reduce cholesterol, aid blood circulation and strengthen one's immunity.
