Ford Data Exchange (FDX) Registration Instructions

Registration Preparations
In order to register with Autoweb for an FDX mailbox, you will need internet access. Autoweb prefers international payment by credit card. However, you may also pay via Electronic Funds Transfer or Purchase Order. For specific Electronic Funds Transfer instructions, please contact Autoweb’s Customer Experience team at www.autoweb.net and click on the contact us page.

Registration Instructions

Select the “New Subscribers Click Here” link
On the New User Sign-Up page, select the “Register a new Company or Site” button
Fill in Company, Contact, and Billing information and then click on the “Register Site” button
Confirm information is correct and hit the “Register Site” button again
If your information is not correct, hit the “Back” arrow on your browser
View the page “Your Registration with Autoweb is Complete.” Print this page for you own records
Click on “Annual Subscriptions” link
Select the “ Subscriptions” page from the Main Menu
Select the “Subscribe Now” button next to the Ford CAD Exchange (FDX) option
On the Payment Screen, select payment type (Credit Card or Purchase Order)
If paying via credit card, choose the credit card type and hit “Submit.” The next screen will request your credit card information. Complete this information and hit “Submit”
If paying via Purchase Order, input your Purchase Order Number and hit the “Submit” button. Fax a copy of your Purchase Order to Autoweb at +1 248331 7557. Then visit xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and submit an online support form to receive your authorization code.
Once you input your authorization code and hit Submit, your Autoweb Enrollment is complete!
To Establish Security/Encryption Keys

The first time customers log on to Autoweb’s Main Menu page, they will be prompted to establish security/Encryption Keys and a password. The Encryption Key password is distinct from the Autoweb log on ID and password and is not recorded by Autoweb for security purposes. When choosing the Encryption/Security password, be sure it is a memorable password and documented in a safe place.
New customers will be required to verify Java software is downloaded. Links and instructions are automatically provided to download the Java software upon accessing the initial log in screen.
