Dear Ford Motor Supplier,
Ford Motor Company is pleased to announce the expansion of our global Autoweb solution into our emerging markets. This initiative will significantly improve our design and engineering data management capabilities and represents completion of the second of four certification milestones required by Ford. Currently, over 2,000 Ford users and over 900 key Ford suppliers are part of the Autoweb network. By complying with this program, you immediately gain access to that network.
We are requiring all suppliers to register with Autoweb immediately to access the Ford Data Exchange (FDX) application and begin trading data with Ford. We realize the financial pressures on our emerging market suppliers and therefore have negotiated a special offer with Autoweb. For $895 USD, a supplier will receive access to FDX and Autoweb’s global data exchange application (AFX). An AFX account provides you with access to thousands of global suppliers throughout the world enabling efficient and secure data exchange.
Autoweb’s FDX application will be the standard method of communication between Ford and key suppliers globally. Other methods of data exchange will not be accepted.
