The Employee Internet Management System is just developed to meet this requirement. This system is fully a hardware solution that provides systematic management over online users in the Internet environment. It can produce precise record for the web pages that any employee has visited, allocate accessing bandwidth among different departments and employees, and calculate the Internet usage cost of each employee or terminal (PC). In addition, the system’s featured firewall can provide sufficient protection to the security of the whole Intranet; EIM is connected in serial interface, requiring no changes on original network configuration, and enabling easy maintenance.
