IBM and China ECNet launch IBM eDistribution Solution
New solution help companies establish RosettaNet-based
Business-to-Business Exchanges
Beijing, China, April 22, 2005 -- IBM today launched a new solution for companies in China and around the world to quickly, easily and affordably establish and maintain RosettaNet-based Business-to-Business (B2B) Exchanges.
Targeted for multinational companies (MNC) and large domestic enterprises, the high-quality, low-cost IBM eDistribution Solution works even for companies that have very little IT infrastructure.
Many multi-national corporations and large enterprises have been plagued with the high costs of B2B Exchange as a barrier to getting their smaller suppliers and trading partners connected to their e-supply chain. This affordable and agile solution, available in both English and Chinese, is the answer to the problem.

IBM eDistribution Solution starts from as low as under US$1,000.
The new IBM offering leverages the RosettaNet Automated Enablement (RAE) standard and is developed on IBM’s WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere Business Integration Connect.
